Remote Assistance issue.  Multihomed Windows 7.
I'm hosting Windows 7 using XenDesktop 5 from Citrix and it has a feature called shadowing that utilizes Remote Assistance. These Windows 7 VM's are streamed and have two virtual network interfaces. One is on an isolated network dedicated to streaming traffic only as I use Citrix Provisioning Server and the other is for data, ICA and everything else. Again, the streaming virtual interface is isolated and has no gateway assigned to it. What's happening is that when a Remote Assistance invitation is generated, it sometimes grabs the IP address of the streaming interface which obviously doesn’t work as it's an isolated network. The selection of the interface appears to be random when the VM boots so sometimes Remote Assistance works and sometimes it doesn't. Does anyone know how to bind Remote Assistance to a specific interface? I've tried using the interfaces metric feature but this didn’t work. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Hi, Please understand XenDesktop 5 is a third party software. Regarding its feature, it is recommended to ask in their forum. http://forums.citrix.com/message.jspa?messageID=1550037 Also check if the following article is helpful. http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX127388 From Windows 7 side, I also suggest updating the network adapter driver from the manufacture's site.
